This is a message from Alan Horn to all dissapointed fans:

Many of you have written to me to express your disappointment in our moving “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” to Summer 2009. Please be assured that we share your love for Harry Potter and would certainly never do anything to hurt any of the films. Over the past 10 years, we have nurtured and protected each film, and the integrity of the books upon which they are based, to the best of our ability. The decision to move “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” was not taken lightly, and was never intended to upset our Harry Potter fans. We know you have built this series into what it is, and we thank you for your ongoing enthusiasm and support. If I may offer a silver lining: there would have been a two-year gap between “Half-Blood Prince” and the much-anticipated first part of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” which opens in November 2010. So although we have to wait a little longer for “Half-Blood Prince,” the wait from that film until “Deathly Hallows” will be less than 18 months. I am sorry to have disappointed you now, but if you hold on a little longer, I believe it will be worth the wait.

Harry Potter New Quidditch Game?

Lately these days, we have heard that EA is interested in creating more Harry Potter videogames after the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows videogame is done. These videogames could include a new version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, using the actual technologies. And maybe a new Quidditch Game. This would have to be a bit updated and should include Ron & Ginny in the Team. Maybe a Wii version sounds interesting, taking advantage of the intuitive controllers of Wii, and the up coming “Wii MotionPlus” which increases the Wii’s movement detection capabilities. Riding the Broomstick with the Wii remote sounds interesting!

All we can do for now is wait.

Harry Potter HBP Videogame Dueling Gameplay by James & Oliver Phepls

Today IGN released this new video in which we find James & Oliver Phepls (Fred & George Weasley in the Harry Potter series) dueling. One is playing as Harry, and the other one as Malfoy.

They are apparently dueling at the Great Hall. This is Wii Gameplay which I have to say looks really good! Wii isn’t recognized for graphics, but this game was specially created for Wii and it looks awesome!

Well I can’t add the video right now but I am uploading it tomorrow!

Harry Potter Game Delayed too?

Today in IGN’s Nintendo Voice Chat Podcats they announced that after mailng EA asking if the Harry Potter’s upcoming game would be delayed too, EA sent a response with no concrete answer. So we still don’t know if the Game will delay too until July of next year.
